D[ai]TA

An AI-powered teaching assistant designed to support teachers and help students succeed

What is D[ai]TA?

D[ai]TA is an AI-powered teaching assistant that helps educators turn 5-minute assessments into immediate instructional action. It's part of a larger system embedded in Elevate [Math] that allows teachers to respond to data in real time, form targeted groups, and integrate tutoring to ensure each student receives timely, personalized support.

When a teacher assigns a 5-minute quiz, D[ai]TA analyzes the answers instantly and clusters students by shared misconceptions aligned to CA Math Standards. D[ai]TA then generates a ready-to-teach lesson with Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles, which flags students for targeted tutoring that allows teachers to view growth over time.

Our Theory of Change

If teachers can act on learning needs immediately, supported by tools that reduce planning time and increase instructional precision, then students, especially those furthest from opportunity, will stay on track, feel seen, and receive timely support that sets them up for success.

D[ai]TA is an AI add-on for Elevate [Math] which turns assessments into immediate instructional actions: precise groupings, a ready to teach UDL lesson, and a live progress dashboard. Similar tools exist, but none combine real-time groupings and lesson generation from a single click.
