“SVEF provided all the curriculum, which was very engaging, and I have the freedom to adjust it a little bit according to my style.  The implementation of the practices are great, and I plan to adopt them next year.”

CURRICULUM

E[M] takes a holistic approach that empowers rising 3rd through 10th grade students from underserved populations to solve problems, build tech skills, and gain math proficiency to increase their chances of securing high-paying 21st-century jobs.

Throughout the summer, students will experience a specially developed curriculum to prepare them for their next math class.

The E[M] curriculum has been proven to be two times more effective than similar intervention programs. The program has more than doubled the level of algebra readiness among participating students.

LESSON STRUCTURE

E[M] classes typically start mid-June and run through mid-July. Each district selects its own program dates, times, and location. Each class typically runs 3-5 hours a day.
