Elevating Achievement Through Innovation

Silicon Valley Education Foundation

ALearn and Silicon Valley Education Foundation have merged! After years of offering accelerated math intervention and college readiness programs, the two organizations have joined forces to create the region’s largest non-profit offering such programs.

This merger opens opportunities for us to drive deeper impact in the Silicon Valley and beyond:

  • All of our summer programs – Elevate [Math], MAP, and Catalyst – will run concurrently this year
  • As a larger entity, we will reach over 5,000 students and 44 districts across 10 counties (including one in Oregon)
  • Stronger together, we will continue to raise the quality of programs in math, STEM, college readiness, and positive mindsets, focusing on traditionally underserved communities

About Silicon Valley Education Foundation

Silicon Valley Education Foundation (SVEF) was founded on the belief that a new kind of organization is needed – one with a different philosophy and approach to the challenges in legacy systems. A nonprofit resource and advocate for students and educators, SVEF is dedicated to putting all students on track for college and careers, focusing on the critical areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).

SVEF helps in three simple ways:

We work with school districts to promote best practices and policies.

We offer direct programs and support to educators and students.

We place cutting edge EdTech and resources into live classrooms.

Every student becomes a successful and productive adult.

To deliver and advocate for STEM education that inspires underserved students to succeed in college and careers.

Core Values

Through our work we aim to create a culture where diverse staff works together productively to further the vision, mission, and values as well as to build its potential.
