Vice President, Finance and Human Resources

Emmitt Milton, serves as SVEF's VP-Finance and Human Resources. He is responsible for managing the financial resources of the Foundation and also has responsibility for human resources. He is committed to SVEF’s goal of ensuring the Foundation’s resources are appropriately utilized and have accurate accounting. Emmitt joined SVEF after a career of more than 35 years with Ernst & Young LLP where he was most recently the area director of finance for the Pacific North West subarea. Previously he had been an audit senior manager with Ernst & Young LLP serving several Silicon Valley companies. Emmitt holds a BA in economics from Occidental College and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Emmitt and his wife Jeanne reside in Sunnyvale and have four children.
