Stepping Up to Algebra/Math Acceleration Program Classroom Tours: Watching Summer Math Come to Life!
Our recent classroom tours held in the Berryessa, Oak Grove, and San Jose Unified School Districts were a great success, and helped introduce donors, non-profit partners, and other engaged supporters to the magic of summer learning. The Stepping Up to Algebra/Math Acceleration Program emphasizes small group work, active engagement from corporate volunteers and the role of teacher's assistants (new this year to most districts), which improved the student to teacher ratio.
