Partnership Meetings

SVEF's mission is to leverage partnerships and resources for public education so that all students can realize their full potential. Partnerships are an instrumental part of how we operate. Our goal is to pursue and solidify effective partnerships with corporations, foundations, other non-profits, and schools to ensure we can provide the necessary resources for all students.

Meeting student's educational needs is a complex and challenging task that no one institution can effectively accomplish on its own. We at SVEF believe that there are many organizations that can collaborate to effect change. By finding ways to compliment each other's current operations, we can build a stronger and more unified effort while reducing the barriers to progress.

To this end, as part of our commitment to enhance our partnerships, we are scheduling regular partnership/networking meetings every other month, beginning in January 2011. The meetings will primarily serve two purposes: 1) Understanding SVEF's mission, strategy, platform and where we see potential opportunities and, 2) opportunity to network and identify potential areas for collaboration.

We want to ensure that we have meaningful and rich dialogue at each meeting. So, we are limiting the number of participants to a maximum of twenty at each meeting. The meetings will be held at SVEF offices and will start at noon and end at 2:00pm. A light lunch will be provided. The six scheduled meeting dates for 2011 are: January 27, March 24, May 26, July 28, September 22 and November 17. If you are interested in attending, please register at www.svefoundation.org.
