Did you know that Algebra I is one of the best indicators of high school and college success? Yet, less than 50% of 8th graders are proficient in the Algebra I California Standards Test (CST).
Silicon Valley Education Foundation (SVEF) focuses on raising student performance in the critical areas of math and science. Our Stepping Up To Algebra Plus (SUTA+) program provides out-of-class time support to help students successfully complete Algebra I.
Join us to help students gain skills and confidence in math. Our SUTA+ program runs 2 Saturdays a month 9 am - 12 pm in 18 school districts throughout Silicon Valley. This is a great opportunity for corporations and community members to volunteer individually or in a team to make a difference in a student’s life.
